Past Life generates personalised past life readings and portraits based on information you voluntarily provide during onboarding. Most personal information entered into the App is stored only on the user's device and is not transmitted to our servers. Some information is necessary to send to third-party providers (e.g. OpenAI) for reading and portrait generation. The content generated is for entertainment purposes only.

2.Information You Provide

You may voluntarily provide the following information when using the App:

First Name, Last Name

• Purpose: Personalisation of reading
• Storage: Stored on device only

Birth Date, Birth Time

• Purpose: Reading generation
• Storage: Stored on device only

Birth Location

• Purpose: Reading generation
• Storage: Stored on device only

Gender

• Purpose: Reading and portrait generation
• Storage: Stored on device and sent to OpenAI

Ethnicity

• Purpose: Portrait generation
• Storage: Stored on device and sent to OpenAI

Hair Colour

• Purpose: Portrait generation
• Storage: Stored on device and sent to OpenAI

Recurring Dream

• Purpose: Reading generation
• Storage: Stored on device and sent to OpenAI

This information is used solely to generate the personalised past life reading and portrait. The service does not store this onboarding data on our servers.

3.Information Automatically Collected

The App collects limited anonymous usage information including app screen views, button taps, anonymised purchases, and session timestamps. This does not include personal onboarding data.

4.Third-Party Services

OpenAI

Used to generate past life readings and portraits. Data sent: gender, ethnicity, hair colour, recurring dream. Real name, birth date, and birth location are NOT sent to OpenAI. OpenAI may retain API request logs for up to 30 days. openai.com/policies

Firebase Analytics (Google)

Used to understand how users interact with the App. Firebase may collect anonymous usage events, device information, and session timestamps. It does not receive onboarding data. Data retained up to 60 months. policies.google.com/privacy

RevenueCat

Used to manage in-app purchases. May store anonymous customer ID, purchase history, and entitlement status. Does not receive onboarding data. revenuecat.com/privacy

Google Play Billing (Android)

Payments on Android are processed through Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details.

5.Data Storage

Most personal information entered into the App is stored locally on your device only. This information remains stored until:

• you delete the App, or
• you clear the App's data

We do not maintain a central database containing this information.

6.Data Retention

• On-Device Data — Stored until the user deletes the App.
• OpenAI — API logs retained up to 30 days.
• Firebase Analytics — Retained up to 60 months.
• RevenueCat — Purchase information retained until entitlement renewal.

7.How We Use Information

Information is used solely to generate readings and portraits, personalise the experience, understand anonymous usage patterns, and enable in-app purchases. We do not sell personal data. We do not use data for advertising or behavioural profiling.

8.Data Sharing

We only share limited information with service providers who help us operate the App. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

9.International Data Transfers

Because some service providers operate globally, information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. Service providers implement safeguards to protect personal data in accordance with applicable law.

Your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing. Because the App does not store onboarding data on our servers, most personal information may be removed by removing the App from your device. For other requests: [email protected]

11.Children

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.

Age verification mechanisms are not implemented, but by using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

12.Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect information used by the App. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

13.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and reflected in the "Last updated" date.
